Evan Beal was born in New York, raised in Del Mar, California, and currently resides in the Bay Area’s peninsula region. Evan has over 20 years of professional experience ranging from being a hedge fund analyst, to mortgage banking and wealth management. This background gives Evan unique insight when it comes to real estate. Evan is also a former race car drive, ski-patrolman and currently serves as a personal chef (well, pro-bono for friends and family). The common thread among all these activities and interests? An entrepreneurial spirit and healthy relationships. Evan credits many of his accomplishments to building and bridging from person to person; which has served him well in building businesses and managing teams across industries.
Real estate is a unique journey for each client and because of its impact to long-term success and well-being, it’s among the most important decisions we make in life. Evan aims to contribute his knowledge to help educate clients to help you make the best-informed decisions.
Purchasing, selling or leasing real estate is so much more than an individual transaction but part of the whole financial portfolio. Evan leverages his background and in-depth knowledge of the marketplace to work with your financial advisor and mortgage banker to help you achieve your financial goals.
Evan's favorite things about living in the Bay Area:
Eating. "There is an endless exploration to be had of the region’s globally influenced cuisines (from food trucks to Michelin starred restaurants – sometimes one in the same), and I am always excited to step out of the gastronomical comfort zone."
Access. "As an avid skier, there's nothing better than leaving in the early morning and hitting the slopes by midday. If it’s anything like this season, one could easily play in the snow on Saturday and have your toes in the sand on Sunday. One of my family’s favorite weekend jaunts is up to Mavericks and Half Moon Bay for beach, hiking and fish tacos. Or enjoying a hike in the always cool climate among the redwoods that separate the peninsula from the coast, and we can’t forget the quick zip up to wine country. You really can’t ask for more."
Evan currently resides in Foster City with his wife, Samantha and their terrier, Roger.
As first-time home buyers we knew very little about the buying process, but we were committed to learning as much as we could on our own, which proved to teach us what an incredibly complex and delicate process it is and how having a knowledgeable, honest real estate agent is crucial. Evan did a great job educating us of the various “ins and outs” – he was attentive and patient, answering all our questions (of which there were many). In the ultra-competitive Bay Area, we heard many family and friends speak of submitting numerous rejected offers over the course of six months to a year. Our process took less than 8 weeks from contacting Evan to closing our home. He even recommended a great mortgage banker.Peter I.
Evan was a huge help in buying our home. His professionalism, responsiveness, and positive attitude made a would-be stressful process as easy and enjoyable as possible. He went out of his way to add extra value wherever he could, brought great insights about the homes, and was always responsive and supportive from search through closing.Lisa H.
